Kids do and say the funniest things!

I came across this journal I started to keep to remind me of the funny things this kids do and say but I only had a few entries, so I thought I would share them here:

August 18, 2006 Kaiden (3 yrs) said: “mumma, I have a sleepy seed in my nose”. Some how three year olds can even make boggers cute. He also told me this summer that I have cactus legs!

February 14, 2007 Kael (10 mo) is starting to fly things around and pretend they are planes. It is so cute. He also pushes around cars and says “vroom vroom”. We wonder if this should be his first word…. Grammy and Grampie think so. I disagree.

May 25, 2007 Kaiden is now 3 ½ and Kael is a year old. This past year has gone by so fast. Yesterday Kaiden sat on the cats’ toy mouse and said “squeak squeak”. The he pulled it out from under him and said “mumma I have a mouse in my bum”. One of those moments where your not sure if you should laugh or ignore. Ian and I laughed. Then Kael started laughing at us laughing with Kaiden. It was a cute moment.

June 13, 2007 Kaiden (3 1/2) woke up this morning and came downstairs and said “You want me to sing you a song?” I said yes please and he said “It will take me all morning to sing.” I said ok. After a while he stopped and said “well, I am only going to sing half”. :-)

July 7, 2007 Kaiden like to say to me: “I love you as many as the stars”. I just love this saying especially from my soon to be 4 year old. 4 wow. I can’t believe he is going to be 4! That seems so old.

July 28, 2007 At Kaiden’s 4th birthday party Kael decides to take his first long walk (more than just a few steps). We were inside the garage and he starts walking to the flower garden!!! Awesome. :-) About time too since he is 15 months old!

July 31, 2007 Kaiden peddles his bike on his second try. He got an awesome red bike for his 4th birthday from his Grammy and Grampie. He LOVES it! They thought him how to peddle (with training wheels still on) and he was off. Kaiden has never like to peddle. With his tricycle he many times refused to peddle and preferred to use his feet to “walk” it around.

And recently…
January 5, 2009 – Kael was sitting on the floor with Ian and Ian and I were talking about Kael being sick. I said looking down at Ian “I think he just has a stomach bug.”. Kael looked on the floor where he was sitting, and was all concerned and said “Where’s the stomach bug?”
